Lived there in the late 60s when my commercial fisherman father moved the family up from Victoria to teach the indigenous population how to catch fish in the European style. The project was a massive failure for many reasons, most notably the scarcity of suitable fish species in commercial quantities and the lack of a jetty that meant the three large fishing boats purchased rotted at their moorings. Rowing the catch to shore in small dinghies was never going to form the basis of a fishing industry in spite of the massive and expensive banks of freezers that had been installed

As for 1mile dam same again there pushed an pushed .wene is the white man going to understand they have had hundreds of years of education you can't expect the indigenous peaple to be the same they are peaple at one with the land there education is survival in its purest form then hear comes the white man corruption an disease an phuked up a honest primitive race an Coulter.
